Listing Partner Terms and Conditions
Version 1.0 · Last updated 21 October 2026
These terms apply to companies listed on SnagCompare. A company accepts them when it onboards at snagcompare.com/onboarding. Visitors to the directory are covered by our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy instead.
1. About these Terms and how you accept them
1.1 These Listing Partner Terms and Conditions (the Terms) form a binding agreement between Arion FZC, a free zone company licensed by the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone Authority under Licence No. 4424686.01, with its registered address at Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (we, us, our), which owns and operates SnagCompare at snagcompare.com, and the business that registers for a listing on SnagCompare (you, the Partner).
1.2 You accept these Terms by ticking the acceptance box and clicking "Accept and continue" during onboarding, or by submitting your company information to us, whichever happens first. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not complete onboarding.
1.3 You and we agree that these Terms are concluded electronically, and that an electronic acceptance has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. Neither party will challenge the validity or enforceability of these Terms only because they were accepted electronically.
1.4 The person accepting these Terms confirms that they are authorised to bind the Partner, and that the Partner holds a valid trade licence issued by a competent UAE authority.
1.5 We will record the date and time of acceptance, the version of the Terms accepted, the name and email address of the person accepting, and the IP address used. You agree that this record is evidence of your acceptance. You can download a copy of the version you accepted at any time from your Partner account or by emailing partners@snagcompare.com.
1.6 These Terms apply to your listing and your use of the Partner features of SnagCompare. Visitors to the public website are governed by our separate Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
2. Definitions and interpretation
2.1 In these Terms:
- Platform means the SnagCompare website at snagcompare.com, its sub-pages, and any related apps, emails or social media pages we operate.
- Listing means the profile page and any other entry about the Partner shown on the Platform.
- Partner Content means all information, text, prices, checklists, lists of tools and equipment, images, logos, documents and other material that you or anyone on your behalf submits to us, whether through the onboarding form, your Partner account, email or otherwise.
- Third-Party Content means content we display that comes from a third party and not from you or us, including star ratings, review counts, reviews and AI-generated review summaries supplied through Google's services.
- Platform Content means everything on the Platform other than Partner Content and Third-Party Content, including our design, layout, comparison tables, categories, methodology text and software.
- Customer means any person who views the Platform or contacts you through it.
- Business Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or official public holiday in the United Arab Emirates.
- Applicable Law means all laws and regulations in force in the UAE, including those of any emirate or free zone authority, that apply to a party or to the activity concerned.
2.2 Headings are for convenience only. Words such as "including" and "for example" do not limit the words before them. A reference to a law includes that law as amended or replaced.
3. Our role and your eligibility
3.1 The Platform is an information and comparison service. It helps Customers find and compare property snagging and inspection companies in the UAE.
3.2 We are not a party to any agreement between you and a Customer. We do not provide, supervise, guarantee or insure inspection services, and we do not act as your agent or the Customer's agent. Any quotation, booking, payment, report or dispute is solely between you and the Customer.
3.3 A Listing does not mean that we have inspected, certified, approved or recommended you, unless we expressly say so in writing on the Platform.
3.4 You represent and warrant, on acceptance and for as long as your Listing is live, that:
- you are a business validly established in the UAE and hold a current trade licence that permits the inspection or snagging services you advertise;
- you hold every other licence, permit, registration and approval that Applicable Law requires for those services;
- the person accepting these Terms is authorised to bind you;
- all Partner Content is true, accurate, complete and not misleading, and you have the right to submit it;
- any certification, accreditation, qualification, membership, insurance or award you claim is current and genuinely held; and
- you will provide your services to Customers in compliance with Applicable Law, including consumer protection law.
3.5 You will tell us within 5 Business Days if any statement in clause 3.4 stops being true, including if your trade licence expires, is suspended or is cancelled.
3.6 We may ask you for reasonable evidence of the matters in clause 3.4, such as a copy of your trade licence or a certificate you claim to hold. We may decline, pause or remove a Listing until you provide it.
4. Partner Content
4.1 You are solely responsible for the Partner Content, including its accuracy, completeness and legality. We publish Partner Content as information provided by you, and we may label it on the Platform as "Information provided by" followed by your business name, with the date it was last updated.
4.2 Prices you submit must be the prices you actually charge, in UAE dirhams, and must state clearly whether VAT is included. If a price depends on property size, location or other factors, you must say so. Starting prices must be genuinely available to Customers.
4.3 Checklists, inspection scopes, tools and equipment you list must reflect what you actually include in the service offered at the price shown. If an item costs extra, you must mark it as an add-on.
4.4 You must keep the Partner Content up to date. You will update it within 10 Business Days of any change to your prices, services, licences or contact details, and in any case confirm it is accurate at least once every 6 months. We may send you reminders.
4.5 If you do not confirm or update your Partner Content when we ask, we may mark the Listing as "not recently verified", hide the affected information, or pause the Listing until you do.
4.6 We may, without changing its meaning:
- format, shorten or arrange Partner Content to fit our page layouts and comparison tables;
- translate it into Arabic or other languages; and
- convert it into our standard categories (for example, marking "thermal imaging camera" as "Thermal imaging: listed by company").
4.7 We may decline to publish, or may remove, any Partner Content that we reasonably believe is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, breaches the UAE media content standards, or breaches these Terms. We will tell you when we do this, unless the law prevents us.
4.8 We are not obliged to check Partner Content, but we may do so. Checking some Partner Content does not make us responsible for its accuracy.
5. Licence to use Partner Content and your name and logo
5.1 You keep ownership of the Partner Content and of your trade names, trade marks and logos.
5.2 You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, non-transferable licence (with the right to sub-license only to our hosting, translation and technology providers acting for us) to reproduce, store, adapt as described in clause 4.6, translate, publish, display and communicate to the public the Partner Content, for the following purposes only:
- operating your Listing and including you in comparison tables, search results and category pages on the Platform;
- promoting the Platform, where your name or logo appears alongside other listed companies (for example, "Compare ABC Inspections and other inspection companies"); and
- keeping records required by law or needed to handle a dispute.
5.3 Territory: the licence applies worldwide, because the Platform is accessible on the internet, although it is aimed at Customers in the UAE.
5.4 Duration: the licence starts when you submit Partner Content and ends 30 days after your Listing is closed, except that we may keep (but not publish) copies for as long as clause 5.2(3) or Applicable Law requires.
5.5 You permit us to use your trade name, trade marks and logo on the Platform, only to identify you and your Listing, and only in the form you supply. We will not alter your logo except to resize it, and we will not use it in a way that suggests you endorse us or any other company. You can withdraw this permission by closing your Listing.
5.6 You confirm that you own, or have permission to license, all Partner Content, including photographs, and that our use of it under these Terms will not infringe anyone's copyright, trade mark or other rights.
5.7 Nothing in these Terms gives you any right to use our name, logo or Platform Content, except that you may say "Listed on SnagCompare" and link to your Listing, using any badge we provide for that purpose.
6. Google ratings, reviews and AI summaries
6.1 Your Listing may show Third-Party Content, including your Google star rating, total number of Google reviews, a selection of individual Google reviews and an AI-generated review summary supplied by Google. This content is provided through Google's services under Google's own terms, and is attributed to Google on the Platform.
6.2 We do not write, edit or verify Third-Party Content. Reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them, and AI-generated summaries are produced by Google's systems, not by us. They do not represent our views.
6.3 Our current display policy is to show:
- your overall Google star rating and total review count, as supplied by Google;
- a selection of positive reviews, clearly labelled as "Selected positive reviews"; and
- a link to all your reviews on Google.
We apply the same display policy to every listed company. We may change it under clause 17 and will publish the current policy on our methodology page.
6.4 We cannot change, remove or respond to individual Google reviews. If you believe a review is false, unlawful or breaches Google's policies, you must raise it with Google. If Google removes or changes a review, the change will appear on the Platform when our data next refreshes.
6.5 You may not ask us to hide your star rating or review count while your Listing is live, because showing them on the same basis for every company is part of how the Platform stays fair to Customers. If you do not want this information shown, you may close your Listing under clause 16.
6.6 You must not post, buy, incentivise or arrange fake, paid or misleading reviews of your own business or of any other company, on Google or anywhere else. If we reasonably believe you have done so, we may suspend or remove your Listing.
7. Editorial independence, rankings and paid placements
7.1 We decide independently how the Platform is designed, which companies are listed, how information is presented and how results are sorted. We publish a plain-language description of how rankings and sorting work on our methodology page at snagcompare.com/methodology.
7.2 Unless a Customer chooses another sort order, results are sorted using the objective criteria described on the methodology page. We apply those criteria in the same way to every listed company.
7.3 We will not rank you lower, or remove you, because you have not bought a paid service from us. We will not rank you higher in organic results because you have.
7.4 If we offer paid features, such as sponsored placements, featured badges or lead referrals, they will be governed by a separate written order or plan, and any paid placement will be clearly labelled on the Platform as "Sponsored" or "Featured".
7.5 Our comparison tables, labels and categories present factual information in a standard format. They are not a statement by us about the quality of your work. We will not publish our own ratings, rankings by quality, or descriptive judgements about you (such as "best", "worst", "cheapest" or "unreliable") except where they are based on objective, disclosed data such as published prices.
7.6 We do not guarantee any level of visibility, traffic, enquiries or bookings from your Listing.
8. Corrections, complaints and removal requests
8.1 If you believe anything on your Listing or elsewhere on the Platform about you is inaccurate, out of date or unlawful, you may send a correction request to partners@snagcompare.com or through your Partner account. Your request should identify the content, explain why it is wrong, and include any supporting evidence.
8.2 We will acknowledge your request within 2 Business Days and respond with our decision within 10 Business Days of receiving everything we reasonably need to assess it.
8.3 While we review a request about Platform Content that you say is false or harmful to your reputation, we will temporarily hide that content if we reasonably consider the request to be made in good faith.
8.4 If we agree the content is inaccurate, we will correct or remove it and tell you what we have done. If we disagree, we will explain why. Requests about Third-Party Content are dealt with under clause 6.4.
8.5 Before starting any legal proceedings about content on the Platform, you agree to first use the procedure in this clause 8 and to allow us the response time in clause 8.2, unless urgent action is needed to prevent serious and irreparable harm. Clause 21.4 continues to apply.
8.6 If a Customer or anyone else complains to us about you or your Partner Content, we may share the complaint with you and ask for your response. We are not obliged to decide disputes between you and Customers.
9. Prohibited conduct
9.1 You must not, and must not allow anyone acting for you to:
- submit Partner Content that is false, misleading, or likely to give Customers a false impression of your prices, services, qualifications or results;
- submit content about any other company, person or competitor, or content that insults, defames or disparages anyone;
- submit content that breaches the UAE media content standards, public order or morals, or any other Applicable Law;
- impersonate any person or business, or create more than one Listing for the same business without our consent;
- copy, scrape, harvest or systematically extract data from the Platform, including other companies' prices or Listings;
- interfere with the Platform's security or operation, or upload malware or harmful code; or
- use the Platform or information from it to contact Customers for any purpose they have not requested.
10. Fees
10.1 Listing on the Platform is currently free of charge.
10.2 We may introduce fees for new or optional features. Any fee will apply only if you agree to it in a separate written order or plan. We will not start charging for your existing basic Listing without giving you at least 30 days' written notice, during which you may close your Listing free of charge.
10.3 All fees are stated in UAE dirhams and are exclusive of VAT, which will be added where applicable.
11. Data protection
11.1 We will process the personal data of your staff and contacts (such as names, job titles, email addresses and phone numbers) only to manage your Listing, communicate with you, keep records of your acceptance of these Terms, and comply with Applicable Law. Our Privacy Policy at snagcompare.com/privacy explains how we do this.
11.2 Each party will comply with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and any other applicable data protection law in relation to personal data it shares with the other.
11.3 You must not include any Customer's personal data in Partner Content (for example, names, unit numbers or photographs that identify a person or their home) unless that Customer has given you clear written consent to publish it.
11.4 If a Customer contacts you through the Platform, you become responsible for that Customer's personal data from the moment you receive it, and you must handle it lawfully.
12. Confidentiality
12.1 Each party will keep confidential any non-public information it receives from the other that is marked confidential or would reasonably be understood to be confidential, including unpublished pricing, commercial terms and correspondence about disputes. Each party will use that information only for the purposes of these Terms.
12.2 This obligation does not apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of the receiving party, was already lawfully known to it, or must be disclosed by law or by order of a court or competent authority. It continues for 2 years after these Terms end.
13. Disclaimers
13.1 We will operate the Platform with reasonable skill and care. However, the Platform is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that Third-Party Content will always be available, complete or up to date.
13.2 We are not responsible for Third-Party Content, for the acts or omissions of Google or other third-party providers, or for any changes they make to their services or terms.
13.3 We are not responsible for the services you provide to Customers, for any agreement between you and a Customer, or for any loss a Customer suffers in connection with your services.
14. Limitation of liability
14.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes either party's liability for:
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- gross negligence or wilful misconduct;
- death or personal injury caused by its negligence;
- your obligations under clause 15 (Indemnity); or
- any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Applicable Law.
14.2 Subject to clause 14.1, neither party is liable to the other for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill or reputation, or indirect loss, in each case whether arising from contract, harmful act, or otherwise, to the extent that loss is not a direct and natural result of the breach.
14.3 Subject to clause 14.1, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you paid us in that period and (b) AED 5,000.
14.4 The limits in this clause 14 apply only to the extent permitted by Applicable Law. If a court finds any limit unenforceable, the remaining limits continue to apply.
15. Indemnity
15.1 You will compensate us, and our directors, employees and contractors, for any loss, damage, fine, penalty, cost or reasonable legal fee we suffer as a result of a claim, complaint, investigation or proceeding brought by a third party or an authority, to the extent it arises from:
- Partner Content, including any claim that it is false, misleading, defamatory or infringes someone's rights;
- your services to Customers, or any dispute between you and a Customer;
- your breach of these Terms or of Applicable Law; or
- any statement in clause 3.4 being untrue.
15.2 We will tell you promptly about any claim covered by clause 15.1, give you reasonable information about it, and not settle it without consulting you. You will cooperate with us in dealing with it. Your obligation is reduced to the extent the loss was caused or increased by our own breach, negligence or failure to follow the procedure in clause 8.
16. Duration, suspension and termination
16.1 These Terms start when you accept them and continue until your Listing is closed under this clause 16.
16.2 Closing by you: you may close your Listing at any time by giving notice through your Partner account or to partners@snagcompare.com. We will remove your Listing from public view within 5 Business Days of your notice.
16.3 Closing by us for convenience: we may close your Listing or stop operating the Platform by giving you at least 30 days' written notice.
16.4 Suspension or closing by us for cause: we may suspend your Listing immediately, and may close it by written notice, if:
- you breach these Terms and, where the breach can be remedied, do not remedy it within 10 Business Days of our written request;
- your trade licence expires, is suspended or is cancelled, or you stop carrying on business;
- we reasonably believe you have submitted false or misleading Partner Content, or arranged fake or incentivised reviews; or
- a court or competent authority orders, or Applicable Law requires, us to do so.
Where we suspend your Listing, we will tell you why and what you need to do for it to be restored, unless the law prevents us.
16.5 The parties agree that termination under clauses 16.2 to 16.4 takes effect on the date stated in the written notice, without any further formal notice (i'dhar), court order or judicial proceedings, to the extent permitted by Applicable Law.
16.6 When these Terms end, we will remove your Listing from public view, but we may keep records of Partner Content, correspondence and your acceptance of these Terms for as long as Applicable Law requires or as needed to deal with a claim. Clauses 5.4, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18 to 21, and any other clause that by its nature should continue, survive termination.
17. Changes to these Terms
17.1 We may change these Terms to reflect changes to the Platform, our services or Applicable Law. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any change that materially affects your rights or obligations, and will show the date of the latest version at the top of these Terms.
17.2 If you do not agree to a change, you may close your Listing before the change takes effect, and the change will not apply to you. If you continue to keep your Listing live after the change takes effect, you are treated as having accepted it.
17.3 We may make changes that are needed urgently to comply with Applicable Law, an order of a competent authority, or a security risk, with shorter notice or no notice. We will tell you about them as soon as reasonably possible.
17.4 Minor changes that do not affect your rights or obligations, such as correcting typing errors or updating our contact details, may take effect immediately.
18. Force majeure
18.1 Neither party is liable for any delay or failure to perform these Terms caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, war, government action, cyber-attacks, power or internet failures, or failures of third-party platforms including Google's services.
18.2 The affected party will notify the other promptly and take reasonable steps to limit the effect. If the event continues for more than 60 days, either party may close the Listing by written notice. Where the event is temporary, the parties may instead agree to adjust their obligations for the period it lasts.
19. Notices
19.1 We will send notices to the email address in your Partner account, and you must send notices to partners@snagcompare.com. A notice sent by email is treated as received on the next Business Day after it is sent, unless the sender receives a delivery failure message.
19.2 You must keep your account email address current. Notices sent to the last email address you gave us are validly given.
20. General
20.1 Entire agreement: these Terms, together with any separate written order or plan for paid features and the documents they refer to, are the entire agreement between the parties about your Listing. If a separate order conflicts with these Terms, the order prevails for the paid feature it covers.
20.2 Severability: if any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be applied to the greatest extent permitted, and the rest of these Terms will remain in force.
20.3 Assignment: you may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them to a company that takes over the Platform, and will notify you if we do.
20.4 Relationship: nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise or employment relationship between the parties. Neither party may bind the other.
20.5 No waiver: a delay or failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
20.6 Third parties: no one other than the parties (and, for clause 15, our directors, employees and contractors) has any right to enforce these Terms.
20.7 Language: these Terms are written in English and may also be made available in Arabic. If there is any conflict between the versions, the English version prevails, to the extent permitted by Applicable Law. The parties acknowledge that a UAE court may require a certified Arabic translation.
21. Governing law and disputes
21.1 These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
21.2 The parties will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion between senior representatives for 15 Business Days after one party notifies the other of the dispute in writing.
21.3 If the dispute is not resolved within that period, either party may refer it to the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, as determined by the applicable rules of jurisdiction. Either party may also apply to any competent court for urgent precautionary or interim measures.
21.4 This clause does not prevent either party from making any complaint or report to a public authority that Applicable Law entitles it to make.
